If you suspect an outage or degraded performance, check our socials or contact support. We don’t have a public status page yet.

Quick troubleshooting

  • Can’t sign in: Confirm email and password; try Reset password. If still failing, email support and include the team code if relevant.
  • Can’t join a team: Verify the team code with your manager. Codes are case‑sensitive and may expire if the team is archived.
  • Video won’t play: Check network (Wi‑Fi vs. cellular). If the spinner persists, force‑quit and relaunch the app.
  • Upload from Photos fails: Re‑select the file (we only request a single‑file picker). Very large files may need trimming.
  • Live stream issues: Ensure you’re a manager/admin for the team. If bitrate is unstable, reduce resolution and retry.
  • App crash or freeze: Force‑close and reboot your device. Reinstall as a last resort.

Known issues

  • Encrypted video streaming is not yet available. Non‑video traffic uses TLS.
  • No push notifications yet; you won’t receive alerts for game events.
  • No age gate; parental controls are recommended for minors.

Frequently asked questions

How do I reset my password?

From the sign‑in screen, tap “Forgot password,” enter your email, and check your inbox for the reset link. If it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check Spam/Junk.

How do I join a team?

Ask your team manager for the team code. In the app, go to Teams → Join team → enter the code. If the code doesn’t work, confirm spelling/case with your manager.

Who can upload or live stream games?

Only team managers/admins. Regular accounts can watch live and on‑demand. Managers can also upload past games via file picker.

Can anyone watch our games?

Games require sign‑in. A head coach may request a limited clip for official review (e.g., by a referee).

How do I delete my account and data?

In‑app: Settings → Delete account. Or email support@tacosports.ca and we’ll delete it for you.

Do you take payments in the app?

No. Teams pay externally, and we don’t collect payment card information.

Do you sell or share my data?

No. We use Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage) and Cloudflare (DNS/mail). See our Privacy Policy.
